参加必克英语学习已经有三十多节课了,我觉得自己有了不小的进步。第一节课时,我只能听懂一些简单的问题,回答问题也非常简短,当时觉得老师的语速很快。三十节课以后,我的听力有了很大的进步,几乎可以听懂老师的全部问题,回答也比以前自如和丰富了。我每次课前会先预习一下,把课文看懂,然后设想一下老师会问我哪些问题,在心里提前准备好。每日话题我也是先把自己要说的想好,然后设想一下老师说些什么我该怎么回答。我告诉自己大胆说,不怕说错,无论表达的对不对,只要老师明白了我想说什么就是成功。我特别喜欢我的老师,她说话的语气就让我很放松,每当我说中文的时候,她总说:“这句别放弃,你可以的!”然后启发我用英文说出来,她的鼓励让我愈来愈有兴趣。兴趣是最好的老师,我的英语也一定会继续进步的。
学员是一位初中学生,跟众多孩子的母亲一样,Jane的妈妈希望孩子各科成绩优秀,也更希望孩子能够提高各方面素质,所以报读了我们的课程。
在孩子的成长过程中,进行正确的引导,兴趣的培养,自觉性和主动性的提高是非常重要的。Jane上课之前都一定会进行充分的预习,包括对话题的准备,对课本知识的预习。这样,她就能在课堂上充分的跟老师用英语交流。学以致用,才是学习真正的目的。
Jane 从最初只能听懂一些简单的单词,到现在能比较流畅的跟老师交流了,这是她英语综合应用能力全面提高的体现。这离不开她对英语的兴趣,还有她的认真精神。从不倦怠,坚持预习复习;大胆敢说,不怕出错。

Jane has made great progress in terms of listening skill and oral English. At the very beginning of her study she had difficulties in following me in class, thus she seldom talked and relied on Chinese too much. I tried to speak with simple and short sentences with low speed, and encourage her to talk, even with fragment sentences. Soon later, she found it easier and easier to follow me, requiring much fewer repetitions from me. And so obvious she enjoyed talking more and more.
By now, Jane is doing great job in sharing opinions, describing events and delivering ideas with simple English, simple but quite clear and understandable. And that is where efficient communications lie—using simple language to make yourself understood.
Jane sets a great example to every English learner, that to become an efficient English communicator, you don’t necessarily have to gain quite large vocabulary, but to make good use of the words you have learnt into real life talk.
