It is my great honour and pleasure to take this chance to express my thanks, admiration and love to spiiker, to my teachers and my study managers:
I have studied in spiiker for nearly one year, it has become necessities in my daily life. Though at the beginning I usually felt reluctant and anxious when it came near to the class time, now I enjoy and expect it. No matter how late I arrive home or how exhausted and upset my work is, after talking with my teacher Marchelle, I become lighthearted again (Maybe due to Marchelle's sense of humor and low punchline haha).
You know, it is genius to use mobiles to teach language. Easy accessibility to classes largely encourages your study enthusiasm. Having foreign teachers? That's even cooler! You feel magnificent and noble when you tell friends that you need to take a 20 minutes' phone call calling from America when you are outside.
But the coolest thing is the teachers' professional, earnest and friendly teaching style. I enjoy every small talks I have with my teachers. Unlike repeatedly introducing myself in the stupid common English corners, here we can have real talks, adult talks. We share opinions of cultures, values, customs. Sometimes I pour out my grievances to my teacher and sometimes I tell the funny things I come to in the daytime. Though not easy, I try my best to expand my every idea to make myself more persuasive. Also, I learned many good traits from my teacher.
I would also like to thank the accompany of my study manager Ivy. Learning English is not an easy procedure, I feel lonely, self-doubt, faith-shaking frequently, but I know that Ivy is always there with me. She usually listens to my class records which even I myself would be reluctant to listen and gives me suggestions. Whenever I have any questions or requirements, she will help me with all her heart.
Now I am pretty satisfied with my English ability, cause now I can read English magazines, novels, I can listen to BBC radio dramas on my way to work. English helps me to expand my world. But I know that there is still a long way to go, and spiiker will always be with me.
Camilla is a good student who study conscientiously, she will ask the teacher and me some questions when she doesn’t understand, and she will also do some expansion after class, for example, listening some radio plays which can practice her listening comprehension and increase the sensitivity of the English. Besides, she also has a positive learning attitude. In short, she deserves the best student.
Dear Camilla,
I have congratulated you several times already, and I have expressed how proud I am of you for getting the Best Student award. Now, here I am again writing a letter telling you how proud I am of you for the nth time, and I don't think I would ever get tired of saying this. You deserve the award because of your hard work and diligence. And as your teacher, I feel a sense of pride because I believe my effort has finally paid off.
Teaching you has always been fun and interesting. You are very intelligent and a fast-learner so you make my job feel like a piece of cake. You are a woman who has great potential and with your English skills now, you can go far and high. Continue on having that great desire for learning and never change. Stay grounded and keep on pushing yourself to be better in your every endeavor.
On behalf of your previous Spiiker tutors as well, congratulations and keep up the amazing work! Way to go!
Marchelle
