Hello everyone, I’m Kevin. Time flies so fast. This is my eighth month in spikier, and I’m so glad that I have this opportunity to share my experience in studying English. I still remember the first class I had with my tutor, the only word I could find to describe it is ‘broken’, I expressed myself only by some words, not whole sentences. Thanks to my first teacher Alson, we treated each other just like best friend, even though it’s hard but she could understand me. She encouraged me to speak more, she said, only in this way, can you improve your English quickly. Slowly her words were proved. My sentences were becoming stronger and stronger, and the pronunciations were becoming more and more beautiful, sometimes I even couldn’t recognize myself. Unfortunately Alson left me because of some reasons, so I needed to have classes with another tutor Katie. Katie is patient but also strict, especially in pronunciation. At the beginning, she always interrupted me and let me repeat the words until they were correctly pronounced. It’s really a hard time for me to get through. There were even sometime I wanted to cut off the line, but I didn’t. I kept practicing my pronunciation and broadening my vocabulary. Two months later, the pauses were limited, the mistakes were few, I couldn’t imagine what would happen if I gave up at that time. Now if I get a chance to speak to foreigners, I will take it without any hesitation, because I feel so confident in my speaking English, and I already know how to be understood. Thank you my teachers ALSON and KATIE, thank you my manager CHILLY.
kevin has been studying in Spiiker for nearly one year,he showed shy performance for the first time having class with his tutor, however, with the tremendous effort he made and the encouragement by his tuor, Kevin won praise for his hard-working and better and better performance. As his study manager in Spiiker, i am pround and honored to have him as my student. Now Kevin is going to start his new life in work, wish verything goes well and good luck to him! Thank you!
Hi Kevin!
Congratulations on a job well done! You deserve it and you really made me proud. Your efforts were completely worth it. Let’s face it, studying is hard. It’s not fun, and sometimes it can be really hard to stay focused on the task at hand. However, it’s vital to doing well in classes and staying well-informed. As a foreigner, you have a license to say things wrong, so sometimes you even get away with saying things that a native wouldn’t dare say. Just relax and stop worrying about making mistakes – they don’t exist. Be patient and keep on improving yourself. Keep up the good work!
