继莫雷就香港问题的错误言论不道歉、NBA不处罚之后，NBA总裁肖华又公开表示支持莫雷言论自由的权利。10月8日，中央广播电视总台央视体育频道再次发表声明，决定暂停NBA赛事转播安排。我外交部发言人就此明确表示，与中方交流合作却不了解中国民意，是行不通的。
